This week we were so inspired by my dad who is incredibly talented.  He revamps old furniture for clients and as we all love the three in one idea especially with fashion, here is our take...
Take Grannys nest of tables that has been gathering dust and make it current.  Pick a colour you LOVE and a paint finish to match.  Porters paints has a great range of colours available.  And with google at your fingertips there is no excuse for not trying.

Enhancing the home on a budget

At All Sorted we love the idea of recycling items that otherwise would have been thrown out and making something that is not only functional but stylish.  Pallets can be found at the back of warehouses in most industrial areas and you will find that owners are only more than happy for you to take it off their hands.  Wack on some wheels give it a lick of paint and if you like have a piece of glass made for the top and voila you have a hip and down with it coffee table!  You can whitewash if you choose or leave it raw and stencil writing and numbers on it as the industrial look is big at the moment.  Yes it is true... you dont have to spend alot of money to make your house a home.

Who said that you had to spend alot of money on vases for flowers...? The truth is you dont.  As you can see a mixture of glass bottles and jars that otherwise would have been thrown out, is such a cheap and cute way to add the prettiness to any room or party.  And you dont have to spend an arm and a leg on flowers either!
This day in age you can pick up throw in bunches from a corner store for as little as $7.00 or you can pick your own.

I believe that your surroundings effect your world and everything you do.  We may not be conscious of this, but on a deeper level life is better when we are happy in our homes.
